Is it safe to drive a mazda rx8 while the power steering is off?
Im having problems with the power steering, light comes and goes when the light is on... no power steering. I was was wondering is it safe to drive the vechile while the power steering is off or will that mess up the module since its an electrical power steering on the rx8

unless you are built butt ugly strong like a bull and can twist limbs off of trees at will I suggest not driving the car with damaged components. Keep in mind that a miscalculation on your part means a bad accident and you do not want to admit you were driving a defective car and you know it. The ticket just gets bigger and bigger for what happens after you crash. I have no use for electric power steering. Hydralic steerin is still the best and least expensive option out there. Several companies have tried and so far failed to come up with a cheaper more dependable steering component
